Forehead Lift

The brow lift, or forehead lift, is a facial procedure that works to improve the appearance of visible signs of aging above the eyes for a younger, refreshed look.
Who Can Benefit From A Brow Lift in New York?
Most brow lift patients are between the ages of 40 and 60, and are looking to improve the appearance of sagging skin, lines, and wrinkles. A brow lift can also be used to treat inherited conditions such as a heavy or low brow, or deep forehead furrows.

Brow Lift Surgery With Dr. Fugo
Brow lift procedures may be performed in our Med-Spa non-operatively, using a series of injections or you may be better served with a more traditional surgical approach.
If you opt for the surgical procedure, you can can choose local anesthesia or opt for light sedation as well. Dr. Fugo will make small incisions just inside your hairline. Carefully lifting the skin, Dr. Fugo will remove excess tissue and resuspend the remaining tissue and muscles. Incisions are then closed using dissolving sutures.
What To Expect After Your Brow Lift
The brow lift recovery is generally brief, with expected return to work in no more than a few days. Returning to exercise and unrestricted activities is anticipated by 14 days post-operatively, just as one would anticipate from eyelid surgery.
Your scars will continue to fade over time and will be hidden underneath your hair. Once healing is complete, patients often feel more confident with their appearance and look years younger.
